The DENEYAP Makeathon Competition, which was organized for the 2nd time at TEKNOFEST Adana this year, with the main theme of “Exploration of Space”, was attended by middle/high school students who are studying or graduated from 130 different DENEYAP Technology Workshops in 81 provinces across Turkey.
The goals of the Turkey Century aim to build a science and technology-based future supported by space projects. In this context, the Future Technology Stars developed a space vehicle capable of conducting space analyses, moving on challenging terrains, and being easily controlled, through their diverse space missions learned in the competition field.
With this initiative, young people had the opportunity to develop both their creativity and technical skills, contributing to innovative solutions for the future.
During the four-day competition, Mr. Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation and Chairman of the Board of TEKNOFEST, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology of Turkey, Ms. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairman of the Board of the T3 Foundation, Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK, and Mr. Alper Gezeravcı, Turkey’s first astronaut, met with the DENEYAP Makeathon competitors.
In the DENEYAP Makeathon Competition, which brings together technology and innovation, the most successful projects were awarded a total of 390,000₺ in prize money based on the jury’s evaluation.
