The DENEYAP Türkiye Practice Exam, organized to determine the students who will be admitted to the DENEYAP Technology Workshops, which are implemented to train future engineers, technology entrepreneurs and technology leaders, was held simultaneously in 118 centers in 81 provinces on Sunday, June 30.
Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, who does not leave young people alone as always, visited the DENEYAP Türkiye Practice Examination held at Özdemir Bayraktar Science Culture and Life Park in Başakşehir.
Bayraktar stated that the DENEYAP Türkiye Practice Exam has been held for about 8 years and said, "The exam takes place with excitement and enthusiasm every time. We currently have 40 thousand students competing nationwide. 20 thousand of these students will be entitled to education in DENEYAP Technology Workshops." Bayraktar also stated that he believes that this project will raise many young people who will do things for the benefit of both humanity and our nation.
In the DENEYAP Türkiye Practice Exam, which took place today in 118 centers in 81 provinces, students were asked to design a "Space Exploration Capsule" within the scope of the "Return of the Space Exploration Vehicle to Earth" project in 90 minutes. The main goal of the students who took the exam was to ensure that the astronauts in the space capsule they designed land safely on the water surface. All the materials needed by the students for the project were available on site. The projects prepared in line with the specified criteria were presented to the jury for evaluation. Students who successfully complete the application phase and receive full points from the jury will be entitled to receive training at DENEYAP Technology Workshops.
Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of T3 Foundation, visited the students during the application exam held at Özdemir Bayraktar Science, Culture and Life Park and emphasized that the DENEYAP Technology Workshops were the first project of T3 Foundation and that the workshops formed the basis of TEKNOFEST.
DENEYAP Technology Workshops were realized with the joint work of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, TUBITAK and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation within the scope of the DENEYAP Türkiye Project. As of 2023, 2,700 students have graduated from the workshops, where 15,910 students are actively continuing their education. With 139 workshops, 262 classrooms and a capacity of more than 20,000 students, 4541 instructors are currently preparing students for the future in DENEYAP Technology Workshops. DENEYAP Technology Workshops, which offer the same opportunities to children in Türkiye, from the selection of students and instructors to the educational content, from the materials used in the workshops to the workshop concept, continues its activities meticulously with the understanding of equal opportunity in education.
