The aim of the competition, organized under the theme of Sustainable Cities, is to support the development of ideas for improving the quality of urban life in the field of smart cities within the framework of sustainability and livability principles.
DENEYAP Ideahon, in partnership with DENEYAP Technology Workshops and T3 Startup Center, took place between 27 September - 1 October 2023 at İzmir TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival within the scope of DENEYAP students.
Within the scope of DENEYAP Ideahon, it is a competition where teams will be fed with various trainings, seminars and mentorships and share their ideas they have developed at Teknofest İzmir. The aim of the competition organized under the theme of Sustainable Cities is to support the development of ideas to improve the quality of urban life within the framework of sustainability and livability principles in the field of smart cities.
Within the scope of DENEYAP Ideathon, 913 teams and 3450 students applied. In the intermediate round phase, 327 teams and 1055 students participated. As a result of the mid-round evaluations, 28 teams and 123 students qualified to be finalists. On September 29, 2023, the finalist students made their presentations at TEKNOFEST Izmir. The teams that ranked in the middle and high school categories received their awards on the main stage of TEKNOFEST.
